SEMH Champions
Our SEMH Champions are members of staff who promote and support positive Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) across the school. They help ensure that pupils’ wellbeing is recognised as a key part of their learning, development and overall school experience.
The SEMH Champions work closely with staff to share strategies, provide guidance and support the implementation of approaches that help pupils regulate their emotions, build resilience and develop positive relationships.
Our champions play an important role in:
-
Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing across the school
-
Supporting staff with strategies to meet pupils’ social and emotional needs
-
Encouraging a nurturing and supportive learning environment
-
Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and self-regulation skills
By championing social, emotional and mental health, our staff help create a school culture where pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
