Neurodiversity Champions
Our Neurodiversity Champions are members of staff who are committed to promoting understanding, inclusion and support for neurodivergent pupils across our school. They help ensure that our school environment recognises and celebrates the different ways pupils think, learn and experience the world.
The Neurodiversity Champions work closely with staff and pupils to raise awareness of neurodiversity and to share good practice that supports inclusive learning. They help colleagues better understand differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning differences, ensuring that pupils receive the support they need to thrive.
Our champions play an important role in:
-
Promoting inclusive teaching and learning approaches
-
Supporting staff with strategies for neurodivergent pupils
-
Raising awareness of neurodiversity across the school community
-
Helping create a positive and accepting school culture
By championing neurodiversity, our staff help build a school where every pupil feels understood, valued and supported to achieve their potential.
